JRC Awarded IDIQ to provide Navy with Leadership Development

Christy Gunville

JRogers Consulting (JRC) has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, in support of Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR,) to develop and deliver two important learning programs, the Senior Leadership Development Program (SLDP) and the Mid-Level Leadership Development Program (MLDP). Together, these two programs, aligned to the Department of Defense Civilian Professional Development Programs, provide emerging and senior leaders with the leadership skills they require to lead NAVIFOR through the organizational challenges that lie ahead. NAVIFOR requires a solution that not only ensures leaders possess the abilities and skills to lead across organizational and functional boundaries, but also fosters continual learning and development and strengthens the individual and organizational ability to lead. The SLDP and MLDP seek to further the development and strengthening of these organizational leadership capabilities.

“The entire JRC team, together with our partner, Management Concepts, is thrilled to be a part of these leadership development programs for NAVIFOR and look forward to developing a talented group of Navy Civilian Leaders for the next five years,” said JRC President and CEO, Jill Rogers.

JRC will design and deliver a robust course structure including 27 days of face-to-face learning for the SLDP participants and 24 days of face-to-face learning for the MLDP course participants. Program activities include traditional classroom learning, a 360 Degree Leadership assessment, leadership coaching sessions, and an experiential outdoor challenge course. These activities will be wrapped around a robust leadership development framework that will enhance leadership competencies and provide participants with a structure for strategic thinking.
