In September 2021, JRC won a contract to support the FHWA Professional Development Program (PDP). The program is a 24-training program for new FHWA hires, the majority who are entry-level and recent college graduates. These participants are fully expected to be some of the future leaders of FHWA, representing a broad array of disciplines including transportation and structural engineering, community planning, as well as specialists in environment, safety, operations, realty, civil rights, and finance. JRC will develop and deliver the Leadership Skills Academy to PDP participants, focusing on leadership basics through the lens of SES Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs). JRC will also develop and deliver the course, Developing Effective Coaching Skills, training internal FHWA coaches on the best practices of coaching and support.
